Song to water

Water is the best thing of the world,
she is your best friend,
so please take care of water
or you will die, ooo will die.
Please take care of her,
don't waste more water any more,
you have to help the world with water,
so you can live.
The world need your help,
take care of her in you house,
or in the school in every part, ooo (BIS)
the water needs your help.
The water is all in the world,
more than money or anything else,
without water all the world will die,
like in Africa nanananananaa.
In your hands are the future of the world,
if you want to continue alife,
take care of water.
So I said that the water is more important,
than money so please take care of water,
and a drop is more than you think.

Christmas

Christmas or Christmas Day is a holiday held on December 25 to commemorate the birth of Jesus, the central figure of Christianity. The date is not known to be the actual birth date of Jesus, and may have initially been chosen to correspond with either the day exactly nine months after some early Christians believed Jesus had been conceived, the date of the winter solstice on the ancient Roman calendar, or one of various ancient winter festivals. Christmas is central to the Christmas and holiday season, and in Christianity marks the beginning of the larger season of Christmastide, which lasts twelve days.

Although nominally a Christian holiday, Christmas is also widely celebrated by many non-Christians, and many of its popular celebratory customs have pre-Christian or secular themes and origins. Popular modern customs of the holiday include gift-giving, music, an exchange of greeting cards, church celebrations, a special meal, and the display of various decorations; including Christmas trees, lights, garlands, mistletoe, nativity scenes, and holly. In addition, Father Christmas, so named in parts of England and in France known as Santa Claus in many other areas, including Scotland, North America, Australia and Ireland), is a popular folklore figure in many countries, associated with the bringing of gifts for children.

Because gift-giving and many other aspects of the Christmas festival involve heightened economic activity among both Christians and non-Christians, the holiday has become a significant event and a key sales period for retailers and businesses. The economic impact of Christmas is a factor that has grown steadily over the past few centuries in many regions of the world.

Aqueduct

The aqueduct is a company of Bogota- Colombia that make a procces to the water can be drinkable to the people. The water cycle play an important roll here because when it precipitate is clean, but when it fall to the rivers there are rocks that have quimics so the water can be not drink, so the aqueduct make the procces to be drinkable.
There are a plant that keep water so that part is very humid.

When it found Bogota they were not aqueducts, o people build their houses near to the river, the people transport water with potsf mud or they use animals, but when people carried water in the pots of mud they were very heavy so a man said "Why we don't build like a canal, the people build a canal to the houses it started in the river and finish in the last house, the people didn't build their houses near to the river because the canal. Later the peole suffer for "tiffonia" beacuse the water was dirty and didn't have a procces to clean it.

Later the people had an idea that was that they construct a class of company that clean the water to all the house and it doesn't matter that they don't live nar to the river, so they build a class of tubes that are underground and this tubes arrived to all the houses of Bogota- Colombia, so it create the aqueduct.

The aqueduct take the fresh water ( it can't be drinkable the salt water) from a deposit of water there they made a short procces to clean

Water

Water is formed by hydrogen and oxygen. Water has 3 states: Liquid, solid.gas and ice. Water has a cycle and it is called water cycle it evaporate, condensate, and precipitate. Water by 2025 will be poor many regions of the world will suffer of missing water. Water is very important to the world because without the water we can die and it plays an important role in the economy of the world.

In many planets water is in their atmosphere like:

Moon of Saturn: 91%
Atmosphere of Jupiter: 0.002%
Atmosphere of mars: 0.003%
Atmosphere of Venus: 0.002%
Atmosphere of Saturn: only in ice
Water that has been found in the earth is of 1,360,000,000.

It is usually found water in ocean, rivers, lakes, pounds, etc… It’s found in groundwater.
97% oceans.
Glaciers 68%
Rivers, lakes, etc… 87%
It exist many types of water:
— Artesian Water
— Distilled Water
— Fluoridated Water
— Mineral Water
— Purified Water
— Sparkling Water
— Spring Water
— Sterile Water
— Well Water

The water is used to many things that beneficiate humans like: Industrial, agricultural, household and environmental activities.
Colombia’s water is unhealthy in many regions like: Choco, Cali, Villavicencio, etc…and is because the government of that region doesn’t have aqueduct and doesn’t have a special treatment.

Curious details of Water

Water

From: Juan Manuel Santamaria
Grade: 6B
WATER

—Water is a chemical substance that is composed of hydrogen and oxygen and is vital for all known forms of life.
—Water on Earth moves continually through a cycle of evaporation or transpiration precipitation, and runoff, usually reaching the sea. Over land, evaporation and transpiration contribute to the precipitation over land.
—Clean, fresh drinking water is essential to human and other life forms. Access to safe drinking water has improved steadily and substantially over the last decades in almost every part of the world. There is a clear correlation between access to safe water. However, some observers have estimated that by 2025 more than half of the world population will be facing water-based vulnerability. A recent report (November 2009) suggests that by 2030, in some developing regions of the world, water demand will exceed supply by 50%.
PLANETS

—Water vapor has been detected in other planets not only the earth like:
—Water vapor is present in
—Atmosphere of Mercury: 3.4%, and large amounts of water in Mercury's exosphere
—Atmosphere of Venus: 0.002%
—Atmosphere of Mars: 0.03%
—Atmosphere of Jupiter: 0.0004%
—Atmosphere of Saturn – in ices only
—Enceladus (moon of Saturn): 91%
—Water ice is present in
—polar ice caps on Mars
—Moon
—Titan
—Saturn's rings
—Enceladus
—Pluto
—Comets
EARTH

—The collective mass of water found on, under, and over the surface of a planet is called the hydrosphere. Earth's approximate water volume (the total water supply of the world) is 1,360,000,000 km3 (326,000,000 mi3).
—Water covers 71% of the Earth's surface; the oceans contain 97.2% of the Earth's water. The Antarctic ice sheet, which contains 90% of all fresh water on Earth, is visible at the bottom. Condensed atmospheric water can be seen as clouds, contributing to the Earth's albedo.

TYPES OF WATER

—There are many types of water in the world here you will find almost all the types of water:
— Artesian Water
— Distilled Water
— Fluoridated Water
— Mineral Water
— Purified Water

USES OF WATER

—Water resources are useful to humans. Uses of water include agricultural, industrial, household, recreational and environmental activities. Virtually all of these human uses require fresh water.
—97% of water on the Earth is salt water, leaving only 3% as fresh water of which slightly over two thirds is frozen in glaciers and polar ice caps. The remaining unfrozen freshwater is mainly found as groundwater, with only a small fraction present above ground or in the air.
—Fresh water is a renewable resource, yet the world's supply of clean, fresh water is steadily decreasing. Water demand already exceeds supply in many parts of the world and as the world population continues to rise, so too does the water demand. Awareness of the global importance of preserving water for ecosystem services has only recently emerged as, during the 20th century, more than half the world’s wetlands have been lost along with their valuable environmental services. Biodiversity-rich freshwater ecosystems are currently declining faster than marine or land ecosystems. The framework for allocating water resources to water users is known as water rights.
— Sparkling Water
— Spring Wate
— Sterile Water
— Well Water

COLOMBIA'S WATER

—In many regions of Colombia the water is unhealthy like in:
—Choco
—“Costa”
—Tolima
—Villavicencio
—Cali in others…
—It’s unhealthy because the government have not made the special treatment to the water, they don’t make an aqueduct, for that in the regions the people drink water that they pick up in thrash can or the rivers and all this water is polluting.
—The unhealthy water each day is growing because the population is high the fast development and new chemical products in Colombia. The government have not worried about the water to the government it doesn’t matter so the water in many regions is unhealthy.
